Prince Sued for Not Promoting His Fragrance 3121

After the album by popular Prince, which was introduced in 2006, perfume for women, 3121, arrived on the market and stirred the dust.

A licensed contract was signed with designers of the fragrance – Revelations in 2006. A 100000 dollars worth lawsuit was filed a few days ago for failure in promotion of the fragrance!

Universal Company was supposed to organize the popular singer's participation in advertising through good marketing moves in exchange for 50% of profit. But, according to Revelations: "Since July 2007, despite repeated attempts by Revelations there have been virtually no communications from anyone who could commit to or coordinate any promotional efforts by Prince." The response from Universal is that this objection is without foundation, states NYMag.com.

Nevertheless, perfume 3121 is in the news again!

Geesh-Walmart !!! Prince is way too
classy for Walmart-However-he is a very democratic pluralist-populist type too....

I don't blame Prince for not promoting this fragrance -it needs to be redone. You can get it at Walmart, which is where I tried it. It has this sweetness about it and then it turns into a masculine drydown. I don't like the masculine smell at the end. To each his own.

My sister who lives in the USA says in 2006 or 2007 he did a promotion-a mini concert at Macyś ! and she and her friends recieved lots of samples ! She doesn't know how it smells, though, she doensn't try perfume because of allergies.

Heh at least now he got some exposure soon when his lawyers show-up at curt they will show:

yes yes - i also never heard about this fragrance!!! i think prince had a reason to not cooperate on it... the bottle and maybe the smell in it has nothing with him

Totally sounds like Prince !
He often " refuses to cooperate" (and
for good reason that is in quotes)
with typical & traditional type promotions and contracts. He gave away thousands of free CDs to the people who
went to his concerts-FREE FREE CDs.
He put the word "slave"on his face
in fotos and at concerts to show
his disgust with Warner Brothers years ago.
I just adore Prince and 95 % of his music. I have never heard of this perfume !!!!!!
