Guerlain – Two Important Manifestations in Autumn 2008

A new fragrance for men, Guerlain Homme, has been presented. It was announced, described and tried out in the rare perfumeries that have it in their offer. It has a very special composition and an unusual accompanying advertisement which ensured it Parisians' attention not only by its launch on the market but also by a real Amazon rain forest in the heart of France – Paris.

In front of Esplanade de la Defense and Palais Garnier opera, a jungle on asphalt has been set. It shows the olfactive sense and rhythm of the new edition and refreshing aromas that this fragrant edition does not lack.

Aromatic, citrus and woody waves of Guerlain Homme edition from 2008 certainly attract attention by one of the main ingredients in the composition – Mojito cocktail. The house will present the new fragrance in cooperation with Jean-Paul Goude. The presentation on big screen will include lush vegetation of the Amazon with its green and dense vegetation.

The presentation will take place on the 11th and 12th of September in front of Esplanade de la Defense in Paris, and on the 12th and 13th in front of Garnier opera ( Palais de Garnier).

The second, but no less important manifestation announced for the end of October and November is certainly an art exhibition followed by official celebration in honour of 180 years of the house of Guerlain. With all due respect, this is one of the most prestigious and oldest French perfume houses.

Exhibition "The Renewal of Time" will take place from October 17th to November 16th 2008 and will be presented as a part of skillful work and artistic expression of the house, its value and quality of the creations that have been presented for years. This event will be focused on value of perfumer: avant-garde mixture of the classic and the modern, which led Guerlain to success.

Designer of the exhibition is Caroline Messensee, who reconstructed trend and shaped motifs and influences into an artistic value of products and creation through years. Reproduction of time, as the title of this exhibition suggests (Le Renouveau du Temps), will be shown in honour of tradition of the house of Guerlain.
